    Playing mp3 stop unexpectedly (screen show home menu)

    I use the MCI8080 mainly for playing mp3 files from the HDD. Every x time (more times at a day) the playing mp3 is stopped unexpectedly and the screen is going back to the home menu. I have to browse to the audio folder and select a file to play. Why is the MCI8080 crashing? I use the latest firmware. I hope Philips have a solution for this bug!

    Is this happening randomly in any MP3 file, or some specific file(s) ?
    If you have a track that always fails, can you send me a PM and I'll give you my e-mail address so you can mail me the track so I can try it in my MCi8080 too ?

    Randomly

    Thanks for your reply! I have tested it today. It happening randomly, the same number wich yesterday crashed on the MCI8080 playing today without problems.

    Al of the audio files that I playing are .mp3 files.

    Sounds strange. Have you tried with another USB-device, harddisk, pendrive or so ?
