HMP3000/79 help
Hi
I am having problems with my media player. I have connected a 1tb hard drive to the HMP3000 and after watching several avi's for 35 mins approx a message appears "video format in the file is unsupported"
I have watched the avi's on my mac which are fine, I have updated the firmware. I have spoken to Phillips customer care and they told me to take it back to the shop and then a replacement was given to me but I still get the same message whilst watching avi after 30 mins or so.
please help
thanks
Mark

Hi,
you don't need to post the same content in different threads.

Hi,
maybe you can upload one of the videos somewhere, so that Philips can test the file...

Video format in the file is unsupported
Files used to play fine, now about 35 min in I keep getting this message even though the file hasn't finished and I have confirmed the software is up to date. I can see others have had the same problem but no resolution is provided. I called Phillips and they said to reformat my hard drive but it works fine on other media players. HELP!!!
