Hi,
Just bought a 3200/12. Having the same problems here. I would really appreciate a fix for this. Are you guys at Philips putting effort in this?
cheers

Hi kalkku123,
What kind of problems are you having? I'm asking that because we are discussing two different problems here.
1# - 16:9 format video showing in 4:3 format (the image is squeezed on the center of the screen)
2# - 21:9 format video showing in 16:9 format. (the image is stretched two eliminate the black bars at the top and bottom.

rodrigo, there are several problems not only the one mentioned by you that i've mentioned in my posts, detailed.
Beside 16:9 videos, there are problems with 2.40:1 and 2.35:1 videos.

YES, it has the same problems with 16:9 videos. I've installed the version 2.33 on Monday 07.05.2012.
i'll get back with info when i'll try a 2.35:1 video file or 2.4:1 video file.

Just giving my feedback.
I updated my firmware to 2.33 about now and i still have the same 16:9 problem. Squeezed in the center of the screen like a 4:3.
Tried 16:9, 16:9 widescreen (BDP menu options).

Hi,
during testing - be sure that your TV is setup to "unscaled". Only when the TV does not change anything you can test the BDP only.
