BDP9700 doesn't play normal DVD
My BDP9700/12 plays bluray and music CD's but doesn't work with any of the normal DVD's (bought in shops in NL and on BOL.com).
It's a bit annoying because I had to wait 4 months for it after my BDP9600 refused to start up again and was deemed unrepairable.
Another thing is that I can start movies from my computer (that are on a stick inside the bluray player) but I can't play movies from my computer via the bluray player to the TV (as if it is not bi-directional). I did grant all the necessary permissions for streaming via windows media player and it does see the bluray player.
Are these all start up problems of a new model and do I have to wait for a software update or is there something seriously wrong with the one I got?
