I agree. I can't turn off my Itouch or Iphone without losing the alarm. And when I leave the Itouch or Iphone on the whole night is too bright and gets really hot, I have used the dim button but this is close to useless.
I would like to be able to either turn the brightness off or be able to have the alarm in the background rather then the foreground.
Is this possible to be fixed?

hi Hywel/ KLN,
sorry it has been a while i havent been active on this forum...
as far as i know that is the dimmist level already...
you can use the alarm in the background... but the alarm will only lasts for 30 secs in the default tone (not in the music track you select)
to be frank, why not just use the alarm from apple? simple n nice...
