    DS7550 Bluetooth Dock Adapter

    Hi everybody;

    Since my iphone 4 died and I bought an Iphone5 couple of years ago, I can't use my DS7550 anymore. I would like to buy a bluetooth dock adapter to facilitate my old dock speaker. I checked online and saw a "Coolblue" product which is compatible with DS7550, unfortunately it is little bit pricy, therefore I am seeking alternatives.

    There are some other no name dock adapters in Aliexpress.com, though I am not sure about their compatibility.

    So here comes my question, will any bluetooth dock adapter work with ds7550, is there a special specification that I should look for? The ones that I found on the internet all seem to support different versions of A2DP and Bluetooth, I wonder if it has anything to do with compatibility.

    Any idea/insight would be appreciated.

    Hello earikan35,

    Thank you for your post.

    DS7550 does not support Bluetooth.

    You can either use 3.5mm jack connection or purchase Lightning to 30-pin Adapter from Apple.

    Kind regards,

    Hi Rafal;

    Thank you for your answer, but I am interested in bluetooth adaper and I am not interested in using 30 pin adapter or 3.5mm jack. For your information I have tried 2-3 different lightning to 30 pin adapters in the past, it didn't work for DS7550. Therefore I am looking for a bluetooth solution that will work for any phone not just iphones, in case I have to buy a new phone or apple changes their ones one more time, which is likely to happen every 2-3 years.
