New home theatre for an old tv
I have the philips 42pfl5322 which is an over 5 years old tv and I want to get a home theatre to much it. I am looking at HTS3261 but I m sure it can do more than my tv can handle. The question is what will work and what will I loose? For example can my tv handle blu-ray? Can anybody suggest me a different, more compatible model? What I m looking for is to get the max of my tv plus a set of descent 3.1 or 2.1 speakers. Or should I get a new tv as well? Which brings another question: what is the life span of this type of tvs?
