Can't view and play rmvb file in BDP5200/98

I just bought a new BDP5200/98 (SW: v1.32) last week in Hong Kong.

However, I can't see any rmvb file in my NAS - Synology DS211J via "Browse PC" of the player. Is there any setting in the player? Is the problem of the player?

Yes, it can be selected and played via USB stick.

Do you know why it can't be done via browse pc and how to solve it?

Hi,

I think, RMBV are just not supported by your NAS. Your TV can only play files which your NAS offers...

No, I don't think so because I play play the same in the NAS via Aceplayer in my iPhone. Moreover, I read the spec of NAS that it supports rmvb.

It shows 'no content' in the folder that contains rmvb in my NAS via browse pc too.

So it is not recognized by the player via dlna.

I have the same problem with DLNA of bdp5200k,bdp device can not list files of "rmvb" extension,but "mkv" is ok.

All supported format video file works no any problem via usb or disc.

The firmware version of bdp is 1.32 , latest one.
