AUX & iPhone Multiroom NP3900, 3300, 3500
Over the last few months I bought a few streamium products and am now a proud owner of the NP3900, 3300 & 3500 and enjoy all these devices independently.
I am however a little bit disappointed that there is no multiroom functionality between them, especially since this feature is highly promoted on the packaging. It would be great if for example online radio were kept in sync if they are tuned to the same station, though thats not much of an issue…
What did however bug me, is that music coming from AUX and the DCK3060 iPhone dock isn't streamed to the other devices. Although I plan on getting an MCi900 at some point, I feel this would greatly improve the system. Are there any plans for such integration?
off topic, but I feel that the 3900's menu isn't quite as snappy as the other two. I get the impression this might have something to do with the fact that it has a touch screen. Can anyone confirm this or might I just have a bit of a lazy device?
Thanks for any comments

surely the incoming audio signal is processed? since that is done anyway, one would think that broadcasting it to other players is a minor step.
the hardware is already built to receive audio signals though upnp. sending them can't be so different. the UPNP protocol relies on feedback from receiving devices, so the receivers are capable of sending certain information.
am i missing anything?

I agree completely, it can't be rocket science to implement this...
I don't know why it's not done yet (I was one of several shouting about this in the Streamium Café for the WAC700/WAC700/WAC7500 units a few years ago...)
Cheers !

I agree completely and was also surprised when I initially got my two Streamium devices. (Since then this surprise stepped in the background, due to the amount of other basic bugs...)
I believe that you need a MCI900 for multiroom streaming.
