    Can 9600 support "Myremote" app yet & playback RMVB?

    Hi seems like the lower end models can do more then the 9600. Any ways to playback RMVB files and use "my remote" apps ?

    Hi,

    the BDP9600 is a 2010 device and it's not supported by the MyRemote app. However, if you have a Philips TV (which is supported by the app) you can control the BDP via Easylink.

    hmm... isn't a firmware update supposed to add the functions? I bought the 9600 end of 2011 thinking it should have all the updated functions & supports compared to the lower end BDP from Philips. But to my surprise the lower end models gets more functions?? Like the BDP5200 can playback rmvb but the 9600 can't??
