Hi, I just want to update the firmware-upgrade above by the Philips moderator works very well. Thank you so much for the great support, you bring back my confidence in Philips.
The youtube is wonderful, it's actually beyond my expectation as it can play HD quality too, the only minor gripe is the letter inputting, same as what the person before me had mentioned, it's a bit pain in the a** as it's slow, I guess it tries to predict & search at the same time. Other than that, thumbs up to Philips team!!

Hi,
just try the official Youtube-Remote-App for Android (if you have an Android phone). You can connect it to your player (by entering a code) and search via the App...

Hello,
I have new BDP3250/12 and I succesfully upgraded to FW 1.73 from your site.
The network connection (Auto mode) is OK, but I couldn`t get to neither Youtube nor Picassa.
Youtube doesn`t gets pass the start icon and Picassa gets me information "Cant connect to Google server" or something like that.
I did hard reset by disconnecting power cord and set to factory defaults from menu, but still no improvement. What else could I try?

Hello Philips support, am I worth no answer?
Another problem: after upgraded to latest FW version from your site, my 3250/12 player became very problematic about switching ON/OFF with power button on remote – sometimes (a lot of times) it is impossible to switch on the device with remote, as it was dead. Did you notice this problem on other specimens?
If not, something is wrong with my player and I have to return it. I haven’t tested it on old (original) version of FW because I upgraded it quickly – to gain better You tube support, as promised on this forum and Philips site.

If you mean "reverse to factory defaults" from player menu - I did that 2 or 3 times, it didn`t helped.

Try to upload your device again as maybe the upgrade was not succesfull. Once done (if needed ) then indeed reset and try again
