I agree with You Larsa. In my mind Blueutooth Audio is a priority. That TV is loosing much without this abillity.

But I would also repeat here, maybe someone from the Philps officially can comment on this and also suggest a remedy:

I don’t know if it’s related to the upgrade, but it seems to be: I can no longer use my Apple TV remote control to contol the volume of the TV. It worked before. I tried many things, disabling and enabling the EasyLink in the settings, also changing various things in the Apple TV menu, but does not work. Anyone else had this? Tried to downgrade to the previous firmware, but it did not allow me (said it was older). It’s a PUS6482 by the way… Apple TV works with the TV remote, I think over HDMI, because I have not explicitly paired it. Also everything else works fine, it also turns off the TV over HDMI when I put the Apple TV to sleep mode. Only the volume buttons don’t work.

This is really really inconvinient, because so far I have been controlling my Apple TV purely with the Apple TV remote. Now I have to use 2 remotes for playing a simple movie. Very disappointing, please comment on this if there's something that could be done.

Is there maybe an unofficial way to downgrade the firmware to the previous version, so that I can check if indeed the new firmware is to blame? I would rather have the previous version if the volume control works there.
Ok, it's now almost 100% that the update screwed it up: I just noticed that when I am pressing the volume controls on the apple remote, the little red on the right bottom corner lights up. So the TV registers the remote button press, but seems that it does not recognize as a volume control command.

I'm having the same problem, but with a different remote. So yes this must be a firmware bug.

My 55PUS6482/12 has the same issue. KPN ITV remote control used to work just fine but after updating my TV to this firmware version, I can only see the red LED on the TV blinking, but nothing happens (no volume and no standby controls).

Is there a way to downgrade? I am almost exclusively using Apple TV, and reverting to the previous firmware - if that makes the remote control volume buttons work again - would be OK for me.
