    Unable to update software

    I've been having problems with more recent blu rays, taking a while to load, jumping and the like. I presume it's a software problem and have tried to download a software update via the network. I get the message 'No valid upgrade software found!' However the version is 1.27 whereas the latest version is after this.

    The blu ray player is BDP3100.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated as I'm rubbish at this sort of thing.

    please try to update via USB stick. Please remove any disc BEFORE you start the upgrade procedure.
