Playing the recorded programs...

Hi,

Why i can't to play recorded by tv (42pfl7606) programs, stored on disc without active internet connection?
Why when i click USB icon in tv main menu i can't view records but i see "Empty disc" info (even records on the disc exists)?

That I know, but why?
For what is internet connection to access locally stored records??? It's very uncomfortable.

Do you remember VHS recorders? It was comfortable recording. What simple things became difficult?

I am glad to have a Humax PVR iHDR5200 connected to my TV. Recordings are just a one button push away. Philips calls the USB recording a new exciting feature, but what is the use of recording the same channel your are watching. It would be better if there was a dual tuner available so you could record one en view another channel. The need for having a connection to the Internet to play YOUR recordings is ridiculous. All in all, the way this EXCITING new feature is implemented is a good example of how it SHOULD NOT be done.
