Hi,
I still have Net TV issue with performance ranging from very low to not working at all.
Yesterday, one of the rare times Net TV seemed to work, when I launched the YouTube App, after few seconds the TV turned off and on again.
In addition to these issues, I would like to add a consideration to post #24 from tolgaakcan about the standby SW. I have both ethernet and WiFi connection and my setting is to use the ethernet, but since I have upgraded to 140.36 FW, when I switch to standby and then turn the TV on again, my preference turns "auto-magically" to WiFi.
I have informed Philips moderator with private messages about my experience using the 140.36 (that solved definitively my semi-transparent layer issue) and 140.37 FW on my 40PFL7605H/12, but I have received no feedback yet.
Thanks,
gramir

I did the 123654 trick and sent the MAC-adress to NETTV-people from Philips. They responded that NETTV should work (is connecting to the server, but the software isnot properly installed)
Well My tv isnot connecting to the server at all as the server cannot be found!!
Well here my installation cyclus:
March: installed version 140.32.000 (without any problems!!)
After that I didnot install any new software and NETTV worked fine up to half june/the end of june. From that moment NETTV was constantly down or very slow.
I installed the latest software 140.39.000 (without any problems!!)
NETTV still down.

Hi everybody,
since yesterday I can't reach NetTV (or IP-EPG). Message is "NetTV Server can not be reached - Try again later".
I just have had a look at Club Philips and recognized, that my TV was not longer listed under registered products. So I have registered my TV again (this was the 4th time, that I do the product registration for my TV at Club Philips - not very simple).
I have installed the FW 140.39 but the error still remains.
After this I have also cleared the NetTV Chache at the TV and start over the TV but the error still remains.
regards
bta

I've a 40PFL8605H/12, the Netherlands. 140.39 software
NetTV is indeed horribly slow.
Today I switched on the TV, watched TV for 20 minutes and then started NetTV.
After seeing the moving dots in the bottom of my screen for 1 minute, I got an on-screen message "Philips server cannot be found."
After trying again in 1 minute, and see moving dots for another minute or so, NetTV finally started.
But of course, then again you have to wait very long for the commercial in the lower right corner to load.
After 4-5 minutes or so, I can finally use NetTV...
Philips, this can't be what you intended. Please fix the NetTV asap, as it seems to become slower with every software update.
Thanks

I had NetTV problems since mid May, impossible to get NetTV working. Everytime ''cannot reach server''. Today a technician has replaced the motherboard, flashed firmware to Q5551-0.140.39.0 and flashed standby-firmware to an older version (don't know which).
And for now: NetTV flashes like never before! Me happy \o/
