BDP5200 with firmware 1.52 does not recognize USB keyboard.

After installing the 1.52 firmware version on the blu-ray BDP5200, BDP5200 no longer recognizes the USB keyboard. I run several tests with the K230 Logitech keyboard and KU-0316 HP keyboard, but I can not write anything for example in NetTV (YouTube, Internet browser, ...). The keyboards work well in 1.31 firmware version. Please, how to solve the problem? or how to get the previous firmware version?

Check for updates with your BDP. Some people have got the 1.55 update.
If that does not work, for a quick temporary solution install older FW.
There are at least 1.35 and 1.16 posted on this forum.

1.55 firmware update?...I do not find that firmware in www.philips.com for BDP5200/55.

version 1.55 is only pushed via the online update feature at the moment. So please remove any disc, connect your BDP to the internet, and start the update from "network".

Luth, I could not find 1.35 FW. All links posted have currently expired.

Can someone please help. Trying to enter search terms via remote is a challenge.

I use the following and the USB keyboard does not work:

Blu-ray:
Philips, model: BDP5200/55, firmware versión 1.52 & 1.55.

USB keyboards:
Logitech Wireless Keyboard K230 and HP Keyboard KU-0316


TEST 1:

Step 1: HOME screen

Step 2: I chose NetTV

Step 3: I chose YouTube

Step 4: I selected Search

Step 5: The field for entering text to search YouTube, not accept, does not receive, the letters typed in the USB keyboard.
It's strange because it accepts / receive the numbers typed with the keys of the top area of the USB keyboard.


TEST 2:

Step 1: HOME screen

Step 2: I chose NetTV

Step 3: I chose Internet

Step 4: The field to enter the web address, not accept, does not receive, any character (letter, number, etc.) typed on the USB keyboard.

Here is my testing report, I am Logitech Unifying Keyboard/Mouse.

Keyboard - K700 (Keyboard supplied with Logitech Revue)
Mouse - M525 ( USB receiver supplied with this mouse connected with BDP5200)

The keyboard was tested by entering search string in the Youtube application.

FW. 1.16 - The keyboard works. The Youtube application hardly works. Videos are way too slow to load.

FW. 1.35 - The keyboard works. Youtube works. The Youtube app getup is not as polished as FW. 1.55

FW. 1.55 - Only the numbers (1-9,0) keys work on the keyboard. The alphanumeric keys (qwerty etc.) doesn't work.
Youtube app works fine.
