xxPFL35x7: How to make the YouTube app usable

Hi There,

I have a 32PFL3517H/12.
The TV is very nice, and it has the only smart app that I need: YouTube. However, the user interface of the YouTube app is extremely problematic to use. It does an automatic search on youtube after each letter typed in, and this makes it very-very slow and impractical.

Is there a way to turn this auto search off? Or is there a firmware update planned to make this app more usable?

I have also tried connecting to this TV with the smartphone app to avoid this problem, but it does not seem to connect (I think that this "Smart" TV is not "Smart" enough to be compatible with JointSpace.

Any info appreciated.

My 6year old child can't play with it. She use Smartphone for youtube.

Mine do too - YouTube remote works perfectly on my android. Just link your android to your youtube account. Then you can forget about the YouTube interface on the tv.
