Burn-in on Cinema Gold 50?
Hey there,
I noticed something strange a few minutes ago,
Shortly after turning it on, the "NO VIDEO SIGNAL" message was burned-in before I turned on the source, in a quite visible light grey until the source was on and even then it stayed for a minute or two.
Anyone else seeing this problem?
Didn't expect this in less than a month, much less with only less than a minute of an image being displayed in a constant position...

Do you still see it now when you watch TV? I doubt it as burning in is rarely possible on LCD tv's, like your Cinema Gold, take a look:

Maybe it was just the "No video signal" message appearing because you had the TV set on a source that was not on / connected. It could have looked burned on because of the Dynamic Backlight ON function, that dims the backlight and the text looks light grey.

Hi AlexOSD.
First welcome to the forum!
I can understand your concern about your new TV.I can assure you that you have nothing to worry about.
Your TV will show this "no video signal" when nothing is connected or on to the source it is set on. The reason why it took a couple of minutes before it disappeared is because the other device ( ex blu-ray player) uses a couple of minutes to start up 100% and the TV and the device need to "find" each other and recognize it is on.
Just like bluevoice said.
If there is anything else , don't hesitate to ask. Have a great evening
Regards,
