    OK-button doesnot work

    In Smarttv I Suddenly couldnot open an app with the OK-button off my remote.

    I cleared the memory of SmartTV but now I get the terms off agreement.

    I Cannot agree, as again the OK-button doesnot react.
    This is only in SmartTV.

    I have tried al lot of things (even reinstalled the tv), but nothing works.

    What can I do about this?

    This looks like a generic problem. Also a 2010-model ?

    Philips, this started when I couldnot open an app with the ok-button. So the problem was already there. I cleared the NET-TV memory as I thought this was the problem, but now I think this is a software problem in Smart-TV!

    im having the same problem. Suddenly I couldnt choose an app in Net TV and after I cleaned all NetTV memory, I cannot hiot the ok button when asked to accept the terms of use....

    Please let me know what to do! I have the latest software on 40PFL7605

    I had the same problem. After trying all tips on the internet I sent a mai to the Philips helpdesk. They replied after one day and here under I post that mail. I will try to translate.

    Bedankt voor uw vraag. Naar aanleiding hiervan willen wij u graag de volgende informatie verstrekken.


    Één van de volgende situaties komt voor:
    • De televisie reageert niet op de cursortoetsen als het in Net TV zit
    • De televisie reageert niet op de cursortoetsen op het scherm van de Algemene Voorwaarden

    Checklist
    • Do you have an empty USB-stick (FAT32)
    • Do you have an internet connected computer

    Follow these steps to make Net TV working again.

    On A COMPUTER OR LAPTOP:
    1. Make a folder on the USB called "upgrades"

    2. Download the downgrade software through this link:
    http://tinyurl.com/p5davu2

    3. Unzip the file and copy the *.upg file to the "upgrades" folder on the USB stick.
    Pak het gedownloade bestand uit met een archiveringsprogramma zoals bijvoorbeeld WinZIP, WinRAR, 7

    ON THE TV
    1. Plug in the USB in to your TV set and turn the TV on.

    2. Push the "Home" button on your remote and choose:
    [Configuratie] (Setup) > [Software-instellingen] (Software settings) > [Lokale updates] (Local Updates)
    • Choose software version "140.34.0"

    3. Install the file, even though you are asked if you are sure the install the lower version.
    • Agree with all the terms.
    • Wait untill instalation is finished. This will take 2 - 3 minutes.
    • After the installation is finished the TV will restart or ask you to restart the TV manual.

    After the restart Net TV will function again.
