5.1 Requirements
Sorry for this newbie question but I can't seem to find any documentation to this. What are the basic requirements for 5.1 to work? I mean for all 5 speakers to work? I'm using RCA cable but only three speakers work. I would also like to know if the only option here is to use HDMI or optical cable.
Is there a guide for any requirement to this? Any information would be helpful. Thanks.

For real 5.1 sound you need a 5.1 source sound, and a 5.1 analogue (RCA), s/pdif (RCA or optical) or HDMI.
If you only have stereo sound source (two RCA, red and white), the amplifier only provides stereo sound, and you need to use the menus of the amplifiers to some kind of surround sound, depending of the amplifier.
