Cant see display through DVI>HDMI via PC

Hello to all. New kid on the forum and desperately need to expert help from all of you.

I just got a Philips 32’’ Full HD TV (model number; 32PFL6506) and I am connecting it with my PC via DVI to HTMI cable in HDMI1 port. Unfortunately just before it enters window the TV says ‘NOT SUPPORTED’. By the way, if I turn on Safe/low resolution Mode, it shows the display, but not in normal mode. I am using MSI NVIDIA GeForce 9600GT as display device on Windows 7 environment with all updated driver.

However the VGA to VGA Cable works fine. Is there any way I can go on HDMI way. I just need the display, not audio.
Can someone please help me? Your input will be highly appreciated.
