Generic codec table for BDP HTS
Attached please find an overview of all supported CODEC's for Blu-ray players and Home Theatre system products.
Generic codec table (2012) for BDP HTS.xlsx
The MS Excel file allows you to check if your media file is playable on your product:
1. Analyze your file with some media analyzing tool, for example, Mediainfo .
2. With the analyzed info (audio and video codec), check in the Excel file if the codec is supported.
3. If, according to the Excel file, this codec is supported but it cannot be played on your product, kindly let us know; If the format is NOT supported, you might consider converting it to a format that is supported. There are several freeware programs to do this: Consider www.erightsoft.com/SUPER.html or www.pcfreetime.com.Last edited by Philips - Remko; 06-07-2012 at 08:18 AM.
