    42pfl4307h/12

    Greetings.

Just bought 42PFL4307H/12.I'm having a hard time getting greek subtitles to work(srt file, they appear on screen but are distorted) when playing a movie from a usb drive. Are greek subtitles supported?the encoding for the greek subs is cp1253.If there are not supported this is a big issue because most of the consumers in our days (including me) use the tv as a media player...

    thank you for your time

    Hi,

try to search the forum for greek subtitles. I think, the encoding is still not supported...

2012 devices up to 5500 series have a similar software basis as the 2011 devices.

    Hi Evangelos.

First of all welcome to our forum, and congratulations with your new TV.

I've had a look at this and I can see that .srt files are supported from USB. How many movies have you tried? And is it the same on all?

If possible, please post a picture with this problem.

    Good morning.

I have checked this up for you and the reason the subtitles is like they are is because 2012 models does not support greek subtitels.
