MCi8080 power supply

Hi I have just purchased and received the MCi8080_12 from philips.co.uk, I am disappointed to discover it does not come with a 3 pin mains plug, as I am in the UK this is what I need.

I do have a mains lead with the correct connection for the stereo but I wanted to check before I connect anything that the unit will be ok with UK mains supply.

Can anyone advise me please?

Hello !

The MCi8080/12 is actually the version available in U.K if I understand the Philips webpages correctly.
Anyway, it works fine with 220VAC, so it should be no problems for you to connect it and play around with it.
And as you can see on page 24 in the manual (here), the Voltage that your MCi8080 accepts should be written on its rear panel.

Thank you for your reply, I had looked on the back of the unit and there was no information on there, I hadn't looked on the bottom of the unit however and this was where the info was, I am now happily all up and running so thanks again
