Navigation in address book on VOIP855 no longer possible

Hi,

I am using a VOIP8551B/26 Skype phone. When opening Contacts through the "S"-button, I can only press the down-arrow 5 times, and then the navigation gets locked (can no longer move up or down in the contacts list). The only way to get out of this menu is to press the back-button. Since navigation gets locked, I assume this to be a telephone and not a Skype issue.

Another thing that currently doesn't work is the feature when pressing the first button of a name, the list with name starting with that letter does not pop up. Looks like there is something terribly wrong with the contact list.

I have tried to reset the phone, turn it on and off and remove the batteries for a while - no progress. Any idea how to solve this?

It might be possible that the only contacts you are see in your end are the ones that are currently available. That is why you might think you only have limited scrolls.

good point, but we can usually see all our contacts in the contact list. Funny enough it suddenly worked. Again. Don't know what I did or what was changed, but the problem seems to be solved for now and I simply hope it won't come back ;-)
