    Question 9800W doesn't work anymore

    My speaker seems to connect to my router. The green LED is solid. However, the connection airplay sound doesn't show up. I can select my speaker in the airplay menu, but the sound doesn't work, it keeps silent.

    I also tried to renew the firmware (although it's the latest one). But after clicking ok, the LED blinks green and red and after the 30 seconds it flashes green like as it tries to connect to the router again. Even after flashing for half an hour nothing changes.

    So I also tried to reconfigure the speaker, i.e. I pushed the set up for 5 seconds and reconfigured everything…. oh, I tried it again and now it makes very loud noises. So, what's going on and what can I do about it?

    So you tried the reset option. Also unplugging for some while was done alreadY?

    Yes. But nothing helps.

    Nobody an idea? It'd such a hassle to return it to Philips… I hope to find a solution.

    Step 15 doesn't work. The LED keeps flashing green… I tried it for hours!

    I have had a problem with my DS9800W's. The main speaker started making a static sound one morning with the light blinking red. I turned the speaker to unplug the corn. I touched the metal portion that holds the tweeter and it was warm. No the speakers will not start at all.
