3) There is absolutely no mention of HCS in my HTS7201 setup menu or manual, and as I've said before: i'm not using the MyRemote app!
Can try renaming and then see if it got detected by TwonkyMedia...

Dear new_customer, JustMe and Doengel,
For your MyRemote not working after upgrade issue, could you advise:
- Phone OS and its version used for MyRemote (iOS/Android)
- How many devices (DLNA servers and clients) are connected to their home network during the occurrence of the issue
- What home network it is using (802.11g or 802.11n?)
With thanks & regards,

Sorry for my late reply, I have been away from home for a while. My answers to your questions:
- I have the MyRemote app installed on a Sony Experia mini pro (SK17i), running on Android version 2.3.4.
- I have files stored on two locations:
- On my desktop PC which operates on windows 7 with Microsoft Windows Media player as DLNA server- My home network is 802.11n. The router is a Netgear WNDR4000, N750 dual band router. The Philips TV & HTS, as well as the phone and my home PC are connected to the 2.4Ghz band. The router itself also has the ability to share media files from an attached USB device (simple share), but I do not use this.
- On a NAS attached by cable to the router. This is a WD My Book Live (2T) with a build in media server (TwonkyMedia)
So, in summary, the number of servers is two (three counting the router) and the number of clients is also three: the Philips TV and HTS and the Experia phone.
Thanks for looking into this.

Maybe you can also have a look on the WiFi adapter. yesterday i´ve rented a movie from ACETRAX on my HTS9221 and the WiFi gets lost every few minutes and so the movie stopped playing. Bugged out on this issue i´ve plugged the HTS with a LAN cable to the router and the interruptions where gone.

Dear users,
We tried counter-checking the MyRemote issue as well as the DLNA issue on HTS8562 which uses the same platform - there are no issues pushing info to the player for a playback.
Would you please kindly confirm if you still see this issue?
Kind regards,

Dear Philips-QK,
I can confirm I still have the same issue. I have double checked that I have the latest software installed on the the HTS. At the same time, on the Philips TV, which is also connected via wifi, I do not have these issues.
But, Doengel makes a good point. If I look on my PC which devices are attached to the network, it continuously shows the TV, but the HTS is shown intermittently. Could the wifi adapter be losing connection / resetting itself from time to time? Strangely enough, NetTv does seem to work fine. I can play youtube movies for instance.
Unfortunately, I cannot try to connect via cable as the router and TV/HTS are in two different rooms.

Because of the fact i have now connected the HTS to the homenetwork via cable i found out that the myremote app now finds the HTS everytime and the HTS is remotable again via Myremote app. So there must be something wrong with the WiFi (adapter). Nevertheless pushing music-/videostreams to the HTS still isn´t possible

Simpe share on HTS7202 does not work with v1.52 either. When will it be fixed?
Dear Philips,
It has been months now since the last forum post on this topic, but the problem with simple share on my HTS7202 still remains. Since the last post, I have updated the SW on the HTS to latest version (1.52) and also have the latest version of Myremote, but still the HTS hangs each time I try to push a music file of video file from my network drive to it.
What has changed with the latest software versions is that now at least the "control" part of the myremote app works again. The app finds the HTS and I can use the phone to control it. However, just like before, if I select a media file on the network (music or video) with the app, the display on the HTS switches to "play", but then nothing happens. The TV screen turns black and the HTS no longer responds. All I can do it switch it off and on again.
Will this ever be fixed???
Just as some side notes:
- I do not have this problem when I use the same myremote app to push the same music or video files to my philips TV: everything then works perfectly!
- From the HTS, using the normal remote I can go to the network and "pull" a file to it. It will then play just fine. But the drawback of this is that to play only music, I need to have the TV switched on to find the files to play. I really want to use the Myremote app to find music on my network drive and then play it on the HTS without the TV switched on.
