No Skype Voicemail on my VoIP855
Hi,
I have a Philips VoIP855 Skype phone and since a while it's not possible to receive any Skype Voicemails anymore.
Although I've setup Skype correctly, the phone won't send the call to Skype voicemail. When I disconnect the phone's base station from the internet, so no call to my Skype account or to my Skype Out# gets to the phone, the voicemail works without a hitch.
But as soon as I connect the phone and log in, the phone just keeps on ringing and will never send the call to Skype voicemail. I've tried all settings in the phone, deactivating them and activating them again, but the phone just keeps on ringing and ringing and ringing.
Please help me, because it is very inconvenient that I need to disconnect the phone from the web everytime I need calls to go to Skype voicemail.
Thanks in advance for the support

Dear Three Axis,
Please follow the below steps to do a reset to your device.
1. Remove the main power of your base.
2. Then you'll see "Searching" in your handset.
3. Remove battery in your handset as well.
4. Reconnect the main power and input your battery to the handset again.
If this does not work, please let us know. We will investigate your issue with further details.
Kind regards,

Hi,
I tried the above method, but it still doesn't work. Actually, now when I call my Skype Out number from another phone, my handset keeps on resetting. It sounds the ring and resets, shows the 'Search' and then it says System Start and then it resets again. So the situation has worsened because now I can't even answer the phone itself anymore.

Hi Three Axis,
Could you advise which firmware you are using:
Go: Settings > Advanced > Software updates > Check for update / Auto Update / Device information
Thanks.Forum Mod

Dear Three Axis,
We suspect there are 2 issues - battery issue and firmware issue.
1. The handset batteries could not have the enough power to switch on/boot up the handset. Is it possible to replace the batteries? Battery should be with the same type (750mAH, 1.2Vdc AAA- rechargeable NiMH).
2. Try again the handset with new batteries, if issues of nuisance ringing still occurs , try to get the new firmware.
If this still does not work, please let us know. We may want to track back your unit for further investigation. Thank you.
Kind regards,

I'll try to get the batteries and replace them. Will get back to you once I have more information.
What should be the latest firmware? I always update to the latest firmware I can get.

Hi sorry for the late reply, I've been traveling a lot for my work recently and didn't get access to the right batteries. The 750 mA are hard to find.
I finally got them and replaced the batteries, the phone's now rebooting nicely and I can use it again. But still I have the same problem with the VoiceMail. When I call my Skype number or Skype myself from an alternative Skype account, the VoiceMail works fine when the phone is not logged in. But as soon as I log into Skype with the phone, the phone keeps on ringing and the call never goes to VoiceMail.
This renders the phone practically useless as I need to remember everytime I leave my home to log out of Skype and log in again when I return.
I hope you can help me.
