46PFL5507H/12 lost image and sound with HDMI connection
Hello,
I bought the smart TV 46PFL5507H/12 on UBALDI shop
it looks like pretty, great image and screen.
But i have the following problem with my Freebox V6 player in HDMI.
I turn it on. After about 5 or 10 or 30mn, that depends, my TV automatically turn off while 2 seconds and turn on.
This problem only arrives with HDMI connection (No problem with SCART connection).
I try the following tests without success:
- Reload default setting.
- Turning on first my Freebox, then my TV
- Try another HDMI cable
Can you help me ?
Best Regards

Hi Toengel,
I 'm not to my home. So, i have to check it this afternoon.
If this is the case, should i upgrade the firmware ?
Which one should i use ?
Is there any firmware that fix this ?
I must add that my problem appears with any Freebox V6 player HDMI flux, as
- ADSL TV
- bluRay playing
- HDD recording playing

Yes of course.
You missed already Version 87 where this problem should have been fixed.

OK, thank's for your reply !!
I will try this upgrade.
As i said, i bought my TV in UBALDI shop (specialized shop) and i took a 5 years old warranty (2 + 3) !
But, what about the warranty if this upgrade doesn't fix my problem ?
Because of an upgrade, can i bring back my TV to the shop in order to repair it ?
Regards

Yes, you can. Official Firmware updates don't effect the warranty.
Use the USB Stick option. Download, unzip on stick, remove all USB devices from TV and plug in the USB stick with the autorun.upg file to any USB input. see popup message on TV and follow the instructions. Don't switch off the TV untill the process is finished.
Finish with unplug the USB stick, switch off TV, disconnect/ reconnect TV from power. Power on and it should work. Takes less then 5 Minutes.

Hi Benedickte,
Thank's for your reply.
As my problem is with HDMI, i have to plug at least a HDMI device to check if it is ok.
Otherwise, how can i check this issue ?

Hi Toengel,
I will try the 89.0 when available.
I have installed the last firmware 88 but it doens't fix my issue:
46pfl5007k_12_fus_fra.zip
Version : 000.088.000.000, Fichier .zip, 73.42 MB, Date de publication: 2012-07-02
I see that the name of the file is '46pfl5007k_12'. My TV is '46PFL5507H'.
So, is this the good one for my TV ?
