Is there a way to obtain older firmwares?

I have SA4RGA02VN/97 and I want to downgrade it to the firmware v1.07. I got my device upgraded before checking the features and I don't want to be exposed to A12 as I am not living in a country in which European Union laws are not accepted.

    Hi Trainspotting,

Personally I'm not aware of any possible ways of downgrading the firmaware. Could you tell me what features are you exactly referring to? Maybe there are some different ways of dealing with it.

    Cheers,
    WW

Hi William Wallace, the problem I am having is about the default volume limiter. As you know the maximum volume must be 31, however the problem is that with the latest firmware, the volume does not increase really after 20. As I am living in Turkey, which has a problem of noise pollution, I can not hear the songs while listening to them outside. Instead, the only voice is the engine voices of diesel cars

I've learned that I can overpass the 20 limit with the older versions of the firmware, that's why I want to downgrade to 1.07.

    Thanks!

Haha yeah I think I know what you mean. I still have the memory of car horns all the time!!

Have you tried unlocking the volume limit like it's described here?:

I can not try that because this solution is for the older firmware versions, that's why I am in need of an old one

    Hi Trainspotting,

Unfortunately I have to confirm that it is impossible to downgrade the firmware once it has been upgraded. I can only suggest trying with a different pair of earphones/ headphones...Perhaps this will help a tiny bit.

    Good luck!

Then, I have a question. Why don't you, I mean Philips as a company, warn the user while upgrading about the consequence that it won't be downgraded? I have to state that this somewhat violates the consumer rights.

And for the different headphones or earphones part, I can assure you that I have tried six different ones before I wrote here. Actually, before writing on the support forum, I have tried all possible solutions to my problem.

    Anyway, thanks!
