just bought a 3500 series smart 32" TV great picture - terrible sound, helpdesk says no one has complained about the sound? but the one in the shop was just as bad, tinny and everyone has a lisp. have no spare money for cinema system so was advised to plug our HiFi into the headphone port. Great! have to use HiFi remote for volume but cost us nothing. I don't think a TV should be sold with such terrible internal speakers. who cares how slim it is, its the picture and sound quality that count. any chance of a discount on a sound system phillips? your TV needs one.
