DviX Registration code for 37PFL7666H/12

Hello,

I want to stream videos from my media network (PC or box) to my newly acquired Philips 3D TV (37PFL7666H) and for some reason I get stuck with having to register DviX on the TV. I've read up the process on the DviX website and have already registered my PC but for some crazy reason have spent hours trying to find the DviX registration code on the TV. IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND in the Setup menu??? I'll be very grateful if anyone has identified where one can find this code on the Setup menu of the PFL7666H!

Hi

you don't need to register the TV!
just make sure you have a DLNA/UPNP certified Server running which shares the Video Files in the Network and everything is fine.

I would prefer to register it as what you suggest does not seem to solve my problem. Is it possible to generate this DviX VOD Registration code for this TV or not?

the Code can be found when you go to Browse USB (no need to insert a Stick!). Press Options and then Scroll Down.

Thanks but when I go there (with and without a USB stick inserted), I get the following menu when I press 'Options':
- Repeat
- Shuffle Off
- Slideshow speed
- Slideshow transition

None of these contain a DviX VOD Registration code!??? I find it strange that there is no menu for this item in the Setup but I haven't found it anywhere in there either!

Any other ideas?

I also only have these item available - no sign of DivX VOD code on my 2010 TV... Philips BDPs have the VOD code inside the setup menu...

Question is, does Philips TVs support DivX VOD?

on 2k11 Devices 7xxx Series onwards we do support Divx VOD.
@Junster please scroll down, Sideshow transition is not the last Item.

I checked a 2012 and a 2011 TV. On the 2012 (4007) this option is available. On the 2011 device (9606) it isn't...

Hi,
have a 32PFL9606K/02 and firmware 14.98. Went through the registration procedure. Downloaded DivX video to my PC in order to finalize registration procedure but the transferred file is not found by the TV, neither via USB-stick nor through DNLA.

DivX player cannot play it and VLC shows a scrambled picture only. Might something be wrong with the whole procedure ?

I have the same problem on 46pfl9706 with 14.98.

Can anybody help?
