BDP3200/12 old firmware ?
Hi there,
Does anyone know where I can find older firmware for this bluray player ?
At the moment I've 1.73 and it's giving me lots of issues...
Thanks in advance

for philips they said they have to commit the cinavia requirement, so they wont send out downgrade solution anymore.
for most of the philips device, after upgrading to the latest firmware, it's not possible to downgrade it again (cinavia). yours seem to be one of those...
System Software Version 1.73
Improve performance of Wi-Fi installation.
Compliance with new regulation from AACS (Advanced Access Content System) by implementing
the Cinavia watermark content protection solution from Verance. With this Cinavia watermark
implementation, the player will not be able to play unauthorized copied disc. For details on Cinavia
protection technology, visit Cinavia Online Consumer Information Center (http://www.cinavia.com).

Downgrading usually leads to more problems.

I suggest for you to stick with the current version you have and upgrade if there will be any firmware available in the future for your unit.

all older firmware revisions should be left up for download.philips don't have to commit to anything...they certainly don't commit to their customers, so i've just bought my last philips product ever. they are subservient to a bunch of money hungry grubs. fortunately not all manufacturers are that piss weak...and i know where to spend my hard earnt cash in future.
