Playing Side By Side materials via PC connection

I recently bought 40PFL5507K/12 TV and still have some problems with it. I'm using it as my PC display (nothing more connected only TV) connected to GeForce GTS450 via DVI-HDMI cable. Problem starts when i try to play Halfs Side by Side materials. I play full screen material and see two pictures side by side and turn on 3D option to side by side but nothing happens. If i open file directly through DLNA 3D side by side funtion works and TV generates stereoscopic image. Why can't it do it wneh playing form PC?

Resolution setting are 1980x1080 at 60 hertz. In TV option picture is set without overscan. Also I can't acces "PC Mode" in picture options.

    Hi,

if you add your PC as "Computer" in your Home Menu, it is automatically connected in "PC Mode".

When adding new device I selected computer from the list but still i can't access PC Mode. Maybe it's DVI-HDMI connetion problem? Today I'm gonna buy new HDMI-HDMI V1.4 cable but still DVI-HDMI should support Half Side By Side picture via PC. So why my TV doesn't recognize SBS video material and turn it into stereoscopic one when it work via USB or DLNA?

    Hi,

you don't understand what I wrote: If you selected "Computer" your PC is in "PC Mode" - so, it's already activated.

I just got back with new HDMI-HDMI 1.4a cable but still.... Playing full screen Half Side by Side video material, select 3D Side by Side in TV options and still nothing. Why does it work via USB and DLNA but not through the PC connection? It wouldn't bother me so much if my TV would support Polish srt subtitles so i could play it from USB or DLNA but i doesn't! I think this is the last Philips product i bought. I''m realy dissapionted!

That solved the problem! 3D SBS works. But why does the quality of picture when connecting as Blu-ray player drops down so much?

Ok if i turn on PC Mode picture quality jumps up but 3D SBS doesn't work on PC Mode so the only option is switching PC Mode on ond off.

    Hi

Sorry to say but there is currently a BUG in the FW but this will be solved.
However you can use the Option also in PC mode:
go to the 3D Mode when the Video is shown, select first 2D > 3D, wait some seconds then use the 3D Option.

    Regards
    Thomas
