Sounds great! I already waited for such an announcement ;-).

I will check it out the coming days. As far as I can see on the screenshot, some linking to live broadcasts or video content is missing. I was already searching for some details when some specific sports are shown. I have my specific interests and do not want to see some other sports and only some minor cutouts from my favorites.

In a perfect world, maybe Philips 2016, I start the NetTV olympia app, choose the sports I'm interested and see live shows and also recordings from the favorites. Not only a mix of all and only few of each as they so most of the times on TV. That would bring the real power of the NetTV platform to the user. Customized TV!

I think, the techniques are there, it is "just" a thing of contracts and bringing all parties together.

We replaced the Eurocup News App with the Olympic App.
So it might be available between your installed Apps.

Nothing to do. As you entered in Smart TV, the olympic app is spoutanesously proposed to be add to your apps.
Works fine.

Lucky man with my 40PFL8605H/12 I can 't find neither the Eurocup News App or the olympic app.
I have the latest firmware.
Just to check I will try to get it with my hts9140/12.

i finally find an app from London 2012 in my smartv portal in france .
It's pap (polska agencja prasowa) DE LONDRES 2012 NOUVELLES, it seems to be the polksa application, the menu is in french, the comment are in english and the contents seem to be from the poland point of vue.

The smartv application seems to be very unstable it makes the tv reboot from time to time.
