No sound on 46PFL8007 from bluray
Hello, i have a 8007 for 2 weeks now and today i connected my OPPO BD95 on input HDMI 5 directly. I put a bluray in the the device and first i had sound but when the main movie begin the sound was gone. The disc has only DTS-HD sound. My OPPO can not downgrade the sound to stereo and i found also no menu on the 8007 to downgrade the sound to stereo. I have thus no sound on the 8007 from my blurayplayer because all discs have hires spund on it.
Can anyone tell me what i am doing wrong or can you not play blurays on the 8007. I see nothing in the manual. I use the latest 132 firmware from 26-07-2012.
Hope there is a solution.
Thanks,
Peter

Yes, this happens with all original bluray disc who only have DTS-HD Master or Dolby True HD sound on it. I use only orignal discs to test. This is not happening with a dvd. I only have an oppo Bd95 to test.
I shall test with a dvd with only DTS sound on it.

Hey Tamasp
well it is not really because:This is very strange
the Denon does, the TV tells the Denon via HDMI what the TV supports (no DTS) so the Denon downsamples the Sound to PCM Stereo. My OPPO can not downgrade the sound to stereo
