HMP5000/12 does not want to start anymore
Hi, I received yesterday my HMP5000/12 and I have updated it to the last software, via the internet. Flashing was ok, so this is not the problem. It did work after flashing, so I am sure flashing is not the problem.
Yesterday it began to refuse to start, I had to plug it out and in from 220V several times in order to start. Today it does not start anymore. I still have guarantee on it, so I will return it to Conrad.nl.
My question: does anyone know why such media player would refuse to start?
This morning it was in standby (red light) but it refused to start when I pressed the remote control power button and its light simply went out.
Also, yesterday it had several crashes while playing an MKV file, so the only way to stop it and start it again was to plug it out of the 220V and then plug it back in. It has no reset button and no power button, that's why I did it.
Besides, the only way to stop the screensaver was the same method, since it did not react to any button I have pressed on the remote control.
