    Ziggo 3D demo channel 40pfl9705

I don't have the option side by side on the 3D demo ziggo channel. It's grayed out.

I've the latest frimware from october 5 2010.

On other 3D movies on the mediaplayer and bluray i can set the option on side by side or top bottom.

Do you use a Ziggo Settop-box? If yes, is your Ziggo Settop box 3D-HDMI compatible?
If you use a CI+ Module, do you have the HD version?
Read all about Ziggo 3D on the various Ziggo-forums.

    Hey,

Ziggo 3D does not work on philips tv's YET :P

I have spoken (read other thread) to philips, update 140 which was released last week does not support Ziggo yet.
It also doesnt support the PS3 yet.

These updates will follow in the next weeks. Check the site every day, and not just through your tv update menu. It can take a few days sometimes for the update to be available through the tv itself.

rhk-s8 is right. I got the same response from the philips support desk. I also use a CAM CI+ module in the back of my TV.

I have the same problem with 3D-viewing by the combination of Ziggo 3D demo channel & CAM CI+ on the 46pfl9705. Problem is investigated by Philips.

Just installed the new firmware 140.023.
3D-viewing demo channel problem through CI+ works. I've the 3D side by side option. Now I can see the 3D demo channel.
When I switch to another channel after setting side by side, the TV wents black. Nothing works anymore. When I switch off and on the power button the tv works again. It also has this problem when I set the 3D to automatic before switching to another channel.

Does that mean that this... um... phenomenon (or whatever you would call it) is reproducible using the steps mentioned above?

I also installed the new software (version 140.023)

I have now the 3D options to select by viewing the Ziggo 3D demo channel. Also the blue light on the 3D transmitter is on (was not before).

When you select the option side-by-side on the 3D menu (because the Ziggo demochannel is a side-by-side broadcast) a normal view on the Ziggo channel is created. But when viewing the channel through the 3D glasses i don't see any 3d effects on the screen.

Does anyone experience any 3D effects on the Ziggo 3D demo channel ?

PS. I have the first batch of 3D glasses/PTA02 set. Maybe something is wrong with the first batch of 3D glasses according to other dutch forums. Because Philips mentioned that there could be a software problem with the first batch of 3D glasses
