FIXED Searching for tv on the network and Network bandwidth is too low
I've struggled with this since getting media connect, but the best way to eliminate network issues was to change the router settings under QOS (quality of service) and add, then set the MAC address to HIGH (instead of medium). Since making that small change media center no longer searches for the tv and its always on. Hope that helps, as this was the biggest complain from me before the MAC address addition.
