46pfl6606 no tv sound through phillips hts 5320

Please help!!

I have a new 46pfl6606t, and have just bought a philips hts3520/05, i have connected the HDMI cable between both units
(hdmi 1 on tv).

I get no tv sound from the theater system?, only from the tv speakers

Playing a dvd on the hts works fine and picture is perfect, sound from both tv and hts

so what have i not done, when i use the tv setup there is no option to change.

Please advise, this is why i bought a philips theater system so there would be no compatibility issues.

Is the hts 3520 arc compatible??

Hi Pat.

First of all, welcome to the forums, and congratulation with your new TV and HTS.

The reason why you are not getting sound from TV on your HTS3520 is because it's not ARC compatible. How To set up your HTS with you TV can you find here.
