It's the same for me, too. On my 42PFL7695K/02 Dailymotion starts and and when the progress bar is at 100%, nothing happens, the picture is just frozen. No content is accessible.
I think this problem is not solved. This is still an issue. From my understanding Dailymotion can also be removed from Net TV, it simply does not work.
Firmware is: 140.027

Updates?
Are there any updates on this?
I contacted technical support of Philips by phone. They said this is a problem of Dailymotion as content provider. They are providing an application which does not work.
Then I contacted support of Dailymotion by mail and described the problem. They wrote, that Dailymotion does provide a correct application, but there is a problem with the firmware of the Philips TV.
I answered them, that Philips thinks that the problem is the Dailymotion application. I got the answer, that they will forward it to the technical people.
Then I contacted technical support of Philips again by phone. I told them, that Dailymotion says, that there is a problem in the Philips TV firmware which makes the Dailymotion app to freeze. Then they said, that they will report the problem and technical guys want to look into it. They wanted to update me, when they know more.
Hopefully they will look into it. It is not easy if everybody shifts the problem to the other one without looking into it. Just by knowing the fact, that someone else is also involved by the problem, does not solve it or give the right to shift the problem to someone else.
There is serious bug and it should be solved.
Please update if there are news on it.

Indeed Dailymotion is not working (again). And also, if it works, the navigation inside Dailymotion app is a total nightmare.
That's why I stopped using it.

Dailymotion works now
Hello,
today I gave it a try and it worked. Navigation is not easy, but I could access it. I tried in Germany with german country setting.
Seems that there is work done to support Philips NetTV.
Great!

Dear Philips: in order not to be further teased: "In which countries does Daily Motion work????
In Italy the start page (DailyMotion + the yellow scrolling bar) remains frozen since December!!!
We're tired to be teased from an R&D dept that post updates without testing them overall in Europe?
The consumers must be respected not teased as children!

Philips, are you aware of this!?!?!?!?

It didn't work at all, it loaded a yellow bar and then nothing.
This was up to a few days ago.
Today, when I press the DailyMotion icon, the TV displays the following message:
"App not accessible.
The App you are trying to access uses newer features not available on this product".
Well, my... "product" is a 37PFL7605H/12, a 2010 TV!!!
Who downgraded my TV?
Philips, do I have a boat anchor now?
