    Angry Headphones issue with 40PFL8606H

    Hi,

    I have Philips SHC 2000 wireless headphone and Philips 40PFL8606H. I am using a normal analog cable TV channel (not digital TV).

    Issue:
    When I connect my headphones to TV, TV doesnt switch off the speakers and I cannot hear anything in the headphones. I used all the options like increasing volume on headphones in setup etc., It simply doesnt work.

    I tried the headphones on other devices like my music system and headphones work perfectly. As soon as I plugin the headphones in other devices, those devices switch off the speakers, streaming audio through headphones only.

    I contacted the online support team and they were clueless. Can someone help me?

    It would be a compatibility issue. If you have other headphones, try to use it and see if it works on your 40PFL8606H, but this is really odd.

    This is really disgusting. I wonder why the headphones do not work! Where are the support folks? Cannot they test this in thier labs?
