There is still no new release so as stated by mod will be end of the Month.
If you go to the support site it mentions the update will be there before 2013 so we are almost there

11 days to go Philips, when are you going to admit you've done absolutely nothing?

Dear users,
I am sorry to inform you that the new fw release has not been approved and thus the release that was planned for the end of this month will be postponed until further notice.
Again apologies for this new delay and the inconveniences caused by this.
Kind regards,
Philips Moderation TeamForum Mod

This is totally unacceptable to me
its now NINE MONTHS since napster has functioned and there are reported firmware bugs that still havent even been addressed just what is the p[roblem in issuing newer firmware????
i have spent over £2000 on premium kit that is not functioning correctly
i for one now want full refunds - Philips please respond on this by return
thanks

So you really haven't done anything except string customers along?
Okay, lets look at your last post and ask the following:-
A) Why wasn't it approved?
B) Who didn't approve it?
C) If there actually was software (which I very much doubt there was) did it work?

Hi,
they have internal software releases and if they find another bug, this release is not approved... so - back to the developers to fix...

d) why have NO bug fixes at least been issued for over 12 months??
e) as it seems the streamium range has now been abandoned by Philips When will we be issued with refunds????

You are starting with the belief that they actually created the software, which I don't share. Philips have just fobed us off. They in their last message have basically given themselves carte blanche to forget about these models. They have not given us consumers any explanation of the process.

Hi, not sure if this would help but I discovered on my spotify account that I had to retrieve a device code and password from spotify to allow my mci8080 to connect directly. Before I used my mail address and Facebook password but it froze the screen off completely. Licensing rules are such now that one needs to register the device, and often (maybe napster also) get such codes for deep linking from it to the online music store.... This is for spotify, maybe not useful for napster access or deeper.

We already know the timeframes have been changed..
When is the new firmware for MCI900/12 expected to be released?
Atm there are lots of issues like unexpected freeze/reboots of the device, it almost makes me stop using my stereo
