cover art when playing from NAS via DLNA?
When I play music files hosted on my NAS (via DLNA), I see a big square on the TV screen showing a CD disc with music notes on it. This seems to be a default placeholder for CD cover art. My NAS sends cover art if it finds a cover.jpg file in the folder of the music file, but my Philips TV (37PFL77605H12) does not display it.
Should the TV show the cover art? I am just trying to figure out if this is an issue with my NAS or my TV

Just to confirm that I tested with xbmc and I get the cover art there, so this seems to be an issue with the TV.
Should the TV display the cover art or not? Is this a bug or a missing feature?

I have the same question, does anyone have an answer?

What DLNA Server is working in your Environment?
Do you have any Picture Transcoding activated?
can you upload on or 2 of those files (as zip file)

Check jpg size
I had a similar problem with Philips Blue-Ray Player. I usually have the cover embedded in mp3 file. I found that the size of cover art in kbytes determines if it will be displayed. I remember that the limit was about 60kbytes. Everything bigger would not display. So I did a resize of my cover art.

I will test this size-limit later.
If this solves the issue I hope Philips will change this and remove the limit.
I have ReadyDLNA on my Netgear NAS v1.0.18.2

I tested it, by adding a 28kB picture to an MP3 file, it still didn't show.
