HTS9221 + iPod Classic - can't watch photos on TV

I have a HTS9221 and a iPod Classic. When I use it with the iPod cradle of the HTS9221, in the HTS9221 menue I can only chose between music and videos. There is no -photos- button in the menue selectable. So I can't watch photos on TV.

hmmmmm in manual, it mentions just "your disc or a USB storage device"...

do you have another iOS device to check?

I didn't plug the iPod as a USB-Stick or USB-HDD in the USB slot. What I meant is, that I used the iPod in the iPod cradle (on the right side). The cradle is specialy designed for Apple products and I only use an iPod CLASSIC and not an modern iPhone or iPod Touch. Why is it not possible to watch pitures which are saved in the 'photos' folder on the iPod? I can watch them on the iPod and via iTunes on the PC. But in the HTS9221 menue I am not allowed to chose the photos folder, just the 'music' and the 'video'.
