Audio CD support HTS3261/12
Hello,
I frequently play audio CD's on my HTS 3261/12. I have no problem playing most of my CD's but there ar a couple (3 or 4 different cd’s) it won’t play properly. When i play those CD’s it takes a minute to read it and then it plays is with a lot of interference (contantly).
I notices that those cd’s are a bit differtent. Look at the picture, you wil notice a rim along the cd. These CD’s work in every other player (car, pc, stereo) i got except for the HTS 3261/12.
I have updated the software, have chanched every option there is, no result.
What’s the problem? Can you help?

By the way, the (not working cd) on the right is Michael Buble CD. So it's nog some weird illegal of copied cd
. The other CD's are also legal audio CD's.

I have no idea where tot send the EAN numbers so i'm gonna post some here:
These are cd's that dont work on my HTS 3261/12. Hopefully Philips can test these (maybe?)

6 85738 21832 (Minor Earth)
0 9362 49998 9 8 (Call me irresponsible)

I’ve send an email to Philips, if that doesn’t solve it i’m taking the set back to the shop.
There is a second reason i probably taking it back, enormous delay in the audio. I have a mediaplayer connected to my tv. When I play a movie on it the audio wont play in sync with the screen, again i tried every option (also the audio sync option).
Very disappointing set…

No luck, i got a reply from Philips. In short: They got my email and are notifying Philips ‘internal’ and they are going take a look at my problem. They recommend to keep an eye out for updates but they can’t give any guarantees….
Summary: I have to wait and hope.
To be on the save side (before my guarantee passes) I’m taking my set back to the shop.

Wij hebben dit probleem aangegeven intern bij Philips. Zij gaan dit probleem bekijken. Ik kan u helaas geen garantie geven dat hier software voor ontwikkelt word.
Ik raad u de software updates in de gaten te houden.
