MCM166 fimware bug/unwanted feature: fade out/in between continuous CD tracks
Hello!
I have this very disturbing feature of the product:
Playing regular (and factory printed) CDs the unit turns down the volume and then up (fades out then in) on the track boundary.
Since the regular CD is a continuous stream of music, I have no other idea than this must be a firmware bug. This feature of course makes sense when changing streams (like going to the next mp3 file) or shuffling a CD, but nonsense doing it for continuous playback of a regular CD.
This makes pretty bad listening experience on classical, DJ mix or other continuous music CDs where there's no silence gap between the tracks.
By the way I wasn't succeed at the Hungarian phone support to log this problem, and to understand why it is a problem that I never experienced with any CD player I had before.
Hoping to find someone over here who can raise this issue to a firmware programmer.
Thanks,
