SWIPE functionality

Hello folks

Was not able to find any kind of information what the SWIPE functionality in the MyRemote app is and how it works. As soon you click on the SWIPE tab a new screen appears with a kind of hair cross and a OK in the middle (see attached picture) Further a return Button sign like on the real remote control. It's possible to click on the OK in the middle and it gets highlighted as long you push it but nothing happens.

Do you have any idea how it works of where I can get any kind of information or documentation about this feature?

I appreciate any kind of help.
