    BDP5100/12: "Character set" option for subs missing while playing mp4 videos

    Hi,

    I guess my problem needs a firmware update, so I hope that someone at Philips is reading this. Here's the problem:
    I'm trying to watch a mp4 video with external subtitles in Bulgarian. To view them properly I need to change the "Character Set" to Cyrillic which is normally done from the options menu during playback. The problem is that the character set option is missing when playing an mp4 video. I curently have the latest FW for BDP5100/12 (1.62). The same player had exactly the same problem with mkv files an it was fixed with a FW update some months ago. Hope this one is resolved soon, too. The best solution IMO will be to make "Character set" a "global" option under Setup > Preference.
