    Question Philips 40PFL7605 (2010) - Arte+7 out of order

    Hi,
    Since one or two weeks Arte+7 apps (NetTV) is not working.
    Arte page open (white screen) but after 2 or 3 seconds, screen turn to black....
    ...and nothing...
    I have tried to reload the page: same issue.
    Other apps on my TV work well.

    How can i fix this problem ?

    I have exactly the same problem since one week approximately. NetTV works well for all apps... except Arte
    At the start of Arte: the screen goes white, then the TV turns off (standby)

    I tried to empty the history of NetTV, without success
    (46PFL9705 H/12 - France)

    This has now been going on for about two weeks. In reply to an email asking about this problem, Arte sent me the following:

    Wir empfehlen Ihnen an Ihrem Empfangsgerät eine Aktualisierung der Software über das Menü durchzuführen. Dies sollte das Problem beheben.
    In English: We recommend you do an update of your TV's software. This should alleviate the problem.

    Now, what is correct here, Philips? Is the problem on Arte's side or on that of our TV sets?

    Not that I could update the software for my €2.5k 9704, anyway, after you ended supporting it just one year after release.

    Hmmm..Last firmware update for my TV (40PFL7605) is more than one year old.
    I think, my TV is no more supported.

    Same Problem with my 2009 Philips TV ( France ). Nothing Delete and recreation of the App.
    I think this model is no more updated, and SmartTV has an old aspect ( not the one shown in last commercials ). Many apps do not work or are just working with the last years TV, which are non evolutive,
    no firmware since months or years.
    MY TV REF: 32 PFL 9604 H August 2009
    It's a pity, one of the reasons I bought this model was the presence of this Arte app, with the integration of Arte Live Web later.
    Hoping the best in the next future.

    The problem already exits with the .099 version of the Firmware !
    My TV 46PFL5007H/12 purchase in september 2012 !

    And Mr Philips has no response... Yet !

    I think that the problem is about flash and the version of flash p!ug-in for the navigator !

    A problem quiet similar append when I tried to connect to M6 Replay by Internet App...

    Smart TV = TV with nervous break down ?...

    The ARTE app has been removed from NetTV !
    For me, ARTE apps was one of the most important NetTV apps !
    Philips why did you remove it ?

    Thanks, it work at 75%

    I can see the Arte page (and a lots of other) but when i start an apps i cannot use the arrows on my remote control.
    I can only use the OK key.
    I have try the remote apps (Android). I have the same problem...




    Do you know how to fix this problem ?
